How To Live Off The Grid - By Building Solar & Wind Options
Posted by Sylvia Dickens on 22nd May 2009
The power grid is coming down… a bit at a time. You can wait until it happens in your area, or you can switch to your own house renewable energy system and live off the grid.
Does that intimidate you?
Here’s the thing. Homes are being built and modified today so that they are self-sustaining. In other words, they have their own power generating systems. There’s no reason you can’t do the same with your home… and at a fraction of the cost.
For those of you who are unfamiliar with this topic, this means that you install solar panels and/or wind mills to generate your own power. That way, you can live off the grid that is breaking down a bit at a time.
It’s really not that difficult to build your own home power generating system. In fact, I just found a product that tells you exactly how to do that, quickly, safely, effectively and for less than $200.
By switching to off the grid living, you save the environment and yourself. Having your own system means you no longer rely on the grid and save a substantial amount of money every month. Over a year, that really adds up.
Home Made Energy is a guide written by an expert who tells you:
- how to build a wind turbine for home use
- how to make solar power
- build your own solar panel
- how to make wind power
- how to build a homemade wind turbine
- how to live off grid power
- all about solar electricity
- about renewable wind energy
- about green energy sources
Basically, everything you need to know to become energy independent.
If you’ve lived through a power blackout as I have, you will be anxious to find your own personal solution so that you won’t be a victim next time it happens. You can read my review on my How To Live Off The Grid page.
