10 Tips To Help
Relieve Anxiety
in these Tough Economic Times
Are
you anxious over the state of the economy? Many people are
experiencing anxiety for the first time in their lives. It's
understandable. You want to feel secure, and when the economy is
bad, you feel anything but secure.
Time to get anxiety relief!
There
are ways you can relieve anxiety, despite the tough times. It does
take commitment, however, but it can be done. Here are 10 tips that
you can use right away to relieve anxiety.
-
Cut your spending. It might not seem possible right now but if
you take a close look at your spending habits, you are most
likely going to see places where you could cut back. Over the
next week or two, jot down in a notebook everything you spend,
right down to that morning cup of coffee. Include your
transportation, food, snacks during the day, and any extra items
you buy such as clothing. Cut out, or cut down, all the items
that you really don't need or can buy for less.
-
Pop over to the web sites of shops you normally frequent to see
if they offer any free coupons you can print out for discounts
on items you buy normally. Ten cents, 25 cents and 50 cents here
and there soon add up to substantial savings into the hundreds
per year.
-
When shopping ask yourself, "Do I really need this?" as you load
your items into the buggy. You'll be surprised how much you can
leave behind because like most of us, you are probably
susceptible to spontaneous buying. You see an item that looks
tempting and can't resist. Also, do not go grocery shopping when
you are hungry or you will be more tempted to pick up
unnecessary "treats" and expensive items.

Anxiety
Relief: Here's What It Takes to Become Anxiety Free
Anxiety relief evades many people,
not just you. As you know, it is an elusive character that sneaks
into your body and takes control. You have no idea where this
stranger came from or how to stop it.
Like many others, you might not have noticed its development. One
day, you just felt "odd". Next time, your breathing became labored,
your heart raced, your mind went into a frenzy, you began sweating,
and you had a horrid feeling something bad was going to happen to
you.
With each subsequent attack, you became increasingly fearful as the
attacks worsened.
These are all the common symptoms of an anxiety attack.
You're probably wondering why it happened to you? Many people get
anxious but it doesn't turn into persistent anxiety.
The difference is in your makeup. If you are normally a tense person
who worries over things, you are more likely to develop anxiety
disorder. A low sense of self (self esteem, lack of confidence,
feeling unworthy) makes your situation even worse.
To overcome your anxiety, there are many things that need to happen.
For one, you have to take back control of your life.
- Take steps to break
the cycle of fear and anxiety
- Re-establish
your self confidence levels
- Learn to
identify your anxiety before it gets a strangle-hold on you
- Minimize any
stress in your life
- Get physical
exercise every day to work off stress
- Start a regular
relaxation program that eases your mind and body
- Redirect your
attention to solutions instead of the anxiety
- Find a good
anxiety relief program to help you resolve your anxiety attacks
quickly
Inside this
site, you will find tips and advice on these topics and much more.

Build Your
Confidence To Stop Panic Attacks and Anxiety Disorder
Perhaps you already know how it feels to be unsure of yourself.
Pretty much everyone has experienced this at some point – either as
teens heading into their big exam or as adults preparing to start a
new job or make a public presentation.
There are things you can do to improve your confidence. Preparation
is one way. But there are other steps you can take to become more
comfortable with who you are and what you can (or cannot) do. It's a
matter of learning to take yourself out of the equation long enough
to see why you are unsure. It might be because you are going into a
territory that is alien to you. A quick way to resolve this is to
look into the reasons it's unknown territory.
Why is it any different than other situations you are in every day?
What do you need to do to resolve that feeling? Taking it in small
steps will help. Look closely at what you think you are missing in
yourself. Why is that a reason to be anxious? What can you do right
now to fill that gap?
Perhaps simply changing your focus would be sufficient. One trick
that often works is to look at the solutions, rather than focusing
on the anxiety and how fearful you are at that moment.
There are other things you can do, too. Stay tuned! |

Nutrition's Role in Anxiety
Relief
Nutrition is often overlooked as an anxiety relief method. Are you
the type to skimp on meals or eat fast foods because you just don't
have time for anything else? Do you lose your appetite when you are
under stress or depressed? Do you live alone? Many singles ignore
their nutritional needs because they often eat alone. There is no
one else to cook for, so they make small servings, eat at irregular
hours, and miss meals altogether.
When nutrition is deprived, your body does not operate correctly and
that includes your brain and how you think. There are certain
vitamins that your brain needs to ward off confused and unhealthy
thinking.
